8 Months Old!

Cruz is now 8 months old! He's crawling all over the place and learning to navigate the many stairs in our living room, he can crawl up them it's getting down that is turning out to be a problem. He now follows me around the house like a little shadow, and loves to be wherever the action is. He can give kisses, he doesn't pucker will give you an open mouth kiss if you pucker up to him. He blows raspberries, loves to dance to music and puts himself up on chairs and low tables. He has also mastered the art of dismounting once standing, for a while he was just letting go and hoping for a soft fall, he just figured out how to bend his knees and land softly on his bum. He's eating all kinds of fun finger foods, soft carrots, baby grand crackers, avocado, bananas and just yesterday I made him so pureed bok choy... he seams to like it! Life is good for the Cruzer, just living every day to the fullest and making lost of people really happy along the way.  

Easter.

We spent Easter with Grandpa and Grandma Suzuki in Orange County. Cruz colored eggs, went on a easter egg "pick up" and spent time getting to know his cousin Jake, Uncle Mikey and many more family relatives. Thank you Easter Bunnies for all the goodies!

That Tastes Funny!

7 Months Old.

Cruz is 7 months old today and lots of new exciting things have happened. Cruz has 5 teeth, 2 on the top and 3 on the bottom. He has developed his own food rating system, sweet potatoes and green beans get a wide open rating, bananas and rice receive a barely open, I'll eat them if I have to rating and peas get a closed, absolutely not opening rating. His little personality is shining though, he smiles at everyone and loves his daddy, in fact his favorite word to babble is "da, da, da, da". He can get up on his  hands and knees and as of yesterday he can rock and roll, moving back and forth, but no crawling yet. He can sit up on his own if I lay him on his stomach and he can do a dead leg crawl, pulling himself forward and dragging his legs behind him. Oh and the best new milestone we have reached is he is now sleeping though the night! Yeah, mom and dad thank you Cruz!

My Future's So Bright....

Cruz is 6 months old.

Cruz is now six months old! He has 2 bottom teeth and one that is about to pop in up top. He can now roll and roll and roll and only stops when the couch or coffee table gets in his way. He can lift his body up on his knees for about a second and sit up while I'm supporting him from behind. He is defiantly becoming more independent, and wants to reach and grab for his own toy... and not the one that mom puts in from of him. He's quite a good eater and so far has tried rice cereal, bananas, avocado and as of today butternut squash. He's growing so fast and were trying to enjoy every moment of it!
