Merry Christmas.
Our first Christmas as a family was wonderful! Nick and I made a big breakfast at the house and opened presents with Cruz. Later that evening had a delicious Christmas dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Eady's. Thank you to all our friends and family for your kindness and well wishes!

Cruz Meets Santa!
The Beachwalker Inn had Santa visit this past weekend for all the local kids in Cayucos. Cruz, Grandma-T, Grandma Angel, Grandpa Jig, Solo, Pancho, Luna & Cisco all walked down the street from the house for egg nog, hot chocolate and a photo opp. with Santa. Cruz did great, he only cried the first few seconds that Santa held him.
4 Months Old
Cruz is four months old this week and he now weighs 19 pounds. He's enjoying tummy time (laying on his tummy), he used to hate it, and is able to grab at toys you hold in front of him. In the Christmas spirit I've been sing Christmas songs to him and he absolutely loves music, signing and dancing, he giggles from his gut. He also enjoys standing and jumping, with our help to support him of course. Thank you to Linda, a friend of GROW, who made this melocactus hat for Cruz. He looks so cute in it, Nick and I almost fell over laughing at him. I've posted a photo of a real melocactus so you can see how similar the hat is to the plant... great job Linda, we love it!

Turkeys in ElCentro!
Thanksgiving was absolutely wonderful! It was Cruz's first turkey day and we spent it in ElCentro with the Wilkinson family. Grandpa and Grandma Wilkinson watched Cruz while Nick and I went out for a date. We took family photos, ate lots of turkey and special quesadillas (Mexican calzones), and spent quality time with aunt Sam and Megan and Uncle Pat and Sean. Thanks to the Dale family for opening their lovely home to us and especially for the deep-fried turkey!

3 Month Birthday.
Cruz is twelve weeks old now and changing every week. He's making all kinds of new sounds and loves to play giddy-up sitting on your knees while he bounces up and down. He smiles big and giggles so hard it makes my heart smile. He loves to spend time with Dad while I'm away at work, here they are watching TV together. Cruz is a hefty 15lb. 14oz., one good meal away from 16 pounds and is growing like a weed. We started mommy and me yoga this week and it was a huge success, he loves the divinity drops, fun for him and hard squats for me, my thighs are still burning. Life is good... and were so happy to be traveling down to El Centro next week to meet grandpa and grandma Wilkinson for the first time. Their going to get a good workout holding the lil' peanut. Happy Thanksgiving!

Edamame Anyone?
Cruz in his edamame costume! Halloween was fun this year, we dressed Cruz up and walked around to some neighbors trick-or-treating, although mom and dad took his candy. He's two months old now and growing everyday. He's holding his head up, talking like crazy (cooing) and loves to stare at himself in the mirror on his play gym. He's so happy when he's full and quite angry when he's hungry, just like mom.

Meeting of the Moms.
Back in January I found a group of women who were prego like me, we were all due with in 3 weeks of eachother . We meet once a week for yoga and then shared our stories of pregnancy over coffee/tea. This Friday we had a "meeting of the moms" and shared our birth stories and babies. Here they all are; Joseph, Makena, Ellissa, Cruz, Olivia and Lake. 4 girls and 2 boys all healthy and happy!

Road Trip.
This weekend Cruz meet his cousin Jake for the first time. Jake is 4 months old and lives in Mississippi with his mom Kara and dad Jarred. Cruz and I drove down to the OC this weekend to meet Jake and took some cute photos. The whole crew gathered for Pam's Birthday lunch at Stone Brewing Co., which has the most beautiful garden. Can't wait for our next play date!
1 Month Old.
Cruz is already 1 month old! He's growing everyday and weighs close to 11lbs. He likes to sleep in and once he wakes up he is full of smiles. He loves his bath time and especially the baby massage he gets afterwards. Nick and I are doing great and were learning to juggle work and being new parents, thankfully we have lots of help from Cruz's grandparents.

More Cruz Photos!
Life is good! Cruz is settling into a routine and he's a happy baby so far, as long as his belly is full. He is smiling and his eyes can track and follow his favorite toy. We limit our days to one outing, weather it be a walk with Solo, or one of the many doctors appointments we have. Cruz loves rides in the car, rides in his stroller and taking late afternoon naps with mom. Nick and I are doing good and getting enough sleep to get through the day. Here are some photos of our first walk and other too cute snap shoots.

9 Months!
Well, were almost to the finish line, about 2 more weeks left. I had some belly photos taken recently and though I'd share them. We're all set for peanut's arrival, no name picked yet, but this is the place we will post the photos and announcement of his birth so check back soon! All my doctors’ appointments have gone smooth and it looks like we should have a normal birth. He is moving throughout the day and increasing making mom more and more uncomfortable. Thanks for all your love and support!

GROW, Featured in CCM!
GROW, was featured in the July/August edition of Central Coast Magazine as one of "236 Ways to LOVE the Central Coast." "This little gem of a nursery sells locally handmade pottery and garden art form a beautiful setting high up on the bluffs overlooking the ocean in Cambria." We have no clue how the article made it into the magazine, but Nick does remember planting up the succulent bowl pictured in the article. Thanks to CCM for their support and good job to Nick who works so hard to share his passions!
Yoga Moms!
I've had such a wonderful pregnancy and have had the best experience meeting other prego's in my yoga class. Here we are on the last day of class all due within days / weeks of each other. Can't wait to meet all the little ones. So far the count is 2 girls and 2 boys, one mom is keeping it a surprise, she'll be the tiebreaker. How exciting!
